CAMP WILD WOOD: 1st floor

The first floor is where all the fun happens! Coming through the front door, you have a little lounge area to sit when children first arrive. After bringing in all them bags, they might just need to rest before walking to the elevator or hitting the stairs. The floor throughout the house will be reclaimed hardwood floor unless in a room where activities or other things would take place in.

-The nurses office is located to your right next to the front door for any emergencies or just not feeling from being out doors.
-To your left, will be a display wall for all the kids art work they create while being at camp Wild Wood. Its viewable from the outside window for family to see when they pick up their child. Behind the display wall will be a entrance and exit ramp for handicap or any child that needs an easier access to the stage.
-You can either enter the activity area from the left or right. In the activity area, we have all arts and crafts going on. There is a sink and cabinet space for quicker clean up and storing art supplies and utensils when its time to eat. The floor on one side has a water look to it and the opposite end has peaks of mountains. It is a fun rubber floor where anything can be spilled on it and never loses it colors or durability. The rubber flooring would do a lot better then carpet!
-Looking to the left will be the stage where all the kids will do performing arts using their unique personality through skits, plays, sing-a-longs and games. A prop room is attached for costume change and makeup to take place. There are windows in the prop room and back side of the stage to allow light for anyone scared but also to see easier when moving back stage during a performance.
-Standing on the stage, looking straight ahead will be two bathrooms. A traditional and a barrier free bathroom. Both bathrooms have wheel chair accessibility.

-Walking up the hall toward the elevator and stairs is a hall way and cubbies for the kids. Placing the cubbies on the back side of the activity area near the stairs and elevator  seemed like it made more since because before they go upstairs to their room, they could grab their arts and crafts, jacket, snacks and take it back to their room or leave it there for the next day.

A few pieces that will be in the space without giving out any more info..

This camp looks fun :)
